You can buy one at many shops and service stations before entering Austria. In addition, there are tolls on most tunnels, and many mountain passes. Accomodation is generally easier to find than in Germany. Since Austria is most popular for tourists in the winter, bed-and-breakfast accomodation is easy to find during the summer, at very affordable rates. But accomodation in the popular spots can still fill up quickly during long weekends. |
