Guildwood Village - Our Neighborhood![]() We live in a unique neighborhood in the Guildwood Village, a suburb in the eastern end of Toronto. Built in the late 1950's, it seems to embody the neighborhood values of that decade. Shaded by tall trees on wide lots, each house has its own unique character. The narrow streets and lack of sidewalks mean that motorists must share the road with the pedestrians. But then again, few cars venture into this enclave. As part of the neighborhood spirit, there are a number of annual events that involve the whole community. The big event of the year is Guildwood Day. Toronto itself is rather unique among North American cities. Visit our photo album to see some pictures of our city. ![]() The Scarborough Bluffs at Guildwood. |
