Buskers Festival
Held in July, the Kingston Busker Festival is always a popular event, bringing street entertainers from around the world to the streets of Kingston. At any time, you can choose from several acts performing at several locations across the downtown. Several blocks along Princess Street or in front of the city hall are closed for the buskers and their large audiences.
This is, of course, a popular event for kids. My daughter, who normally has an attention span measured in seconds, enjoyed everything, and never once said she was bored.
It should be noted that the acts must apply for inclusion in the festival. Also, the only payment the buskers receive is the donations provided by satisfied audience members. If you have kids, they especially enjoy dropping coins into the performers' hats.
