Barriefield

Barriefield is a historic village across the Cataraqui River
from downtown Kingston. Many old stone houses built in the 19th
century survive in Barriefield, making the village a nice spot for
a walk through history. And ever since Highway 15 was re-routed to
the east, little traffic runs through the village.

Other nearby sites worth visiting are Old Fort Henry and the Royal Military
College.
