Collins Creek
Collins Creek is a creek that flows into Collins Bay
just west of the village. While not an official park, this area was popular with
kids and nature lovers. Currently, the owners of the land want to develop it. But
the area has been designated as a significant wetland by the
Central
Cataraqui Region Natural Heritage Study. We can only hope that if development
is approved, significant areas west of the creek will be preserved as park land.
