The Whirlpool
The "Whirlpool" is a bend in the Niagara River where the water
circles around before heading downstream. The tourist trap here is
the Spanish cable car that takes you on a ten minute round trip
across the whirlpool. Although it looks perilous, the cable car is
very steady.
Even though it is steady, high winds can close down the cable
car. Try to get here early in the morning before it gets too
windy.
