Hart House Circle
On November 11, 1919, Hart House was officially opened. Hart House was planned by Vincent Massey in tribute to his father, and built by the Massey Foundation. The building was designed by Toronto architects Sproat and Rolph, who also designed the nearby Soldiers' Tower. Hart House originally provided athletic, social and dining facilities for men.
