Marktplatz at Dusk August 1986, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany Some of the buildings on the east side of the Market Square. These buildings house restaurants and shops, catering primarily to tourists. The street just to the right of the Dresdner Bank is the Hafengasse, which leads to the Markusturm. The street leading to the right is the narrow Obere Schmiedgasse, which leads to the Plönlein. The second house on the left side of the Obere Schmiedgasse is the Baumeisterhaus. Statues on the second floor represent the seven cardinal virtues. The statues on the third floor represent the seven deadly sins. The statues are copies.
