Plönlein June 2000, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany The Plönlein is a picturesque corner along the Untere Schmiedgasse. To the right, the road goes down through the Kobolzeller Tor, and down into the Tauber Valley. Straight ahead, the road proceeds through the Siebersturm to the Spitalgasse, which leads south to the Spitaltor. At the intersection is a crooked half-timbered house.
