Rödertor June 1991, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany The Rödertor guards the entrance to the Old Town at the end of the Rödergasse. At the other end of the Rödergasse stands the Markusturm. The tower of the Rödertor is open to the public and offers a great view of the Old Town to the south, west, and north. The photo show the view of the tower from the north, from just north of the Weissen Turm. This section of the wall was one of the last opened to the public after the restoration.
