Kirch Grambow May 1993, Wedendorf-Kirch Grambow, Germany In this church, my grandfather Hans Wilhelm Joachim Boldt (born 1900) and my great-grandfather Heinrich Christoph Hans Boldt (born 1873) were baptised. Along the edge of the parking lot there are about a dozen stones, each with the names of soldiers from this district who lost their lives in the First World War. On the stone for the village of Hindenberg are the names Ludwig Boldt and Martin Boldt, both were half first cousins of my great-grandfather.
