Windmill June 1997, Netherlands We visited Madurodam in the morning. Sylvana was not very impressed, and we were on our way sooner than expected. We planned on taking the three hour canal tour from Katwijk aan Zee. But we arrived just minutes before the departure of the 4.5 hour tour, which we were just as happy to take instead. The tour took us through the scenic rural landscape of South Holland. You could see plenty since the canal was generally higher than the surrounding fields.
