Rivers Danube, Inn, and Ilz at Passau June 1989, Passau, Germany Passau is the place where the waters of the three rivers, the Danube, the Inn, and the Ilz, meet at one spot. The Ilz is the river with the dark blue color. The Danube is the brown one, and the Inn provides the tan colored water. The waters of each river maintain their distinctive color for some distance.
