Prayer Palace

The new UFO-shaped Prayer Palace in Toronto, at Highway 400 and Finch Avenue West, is one of the largest places of worship in Canada. The humongous size is needed to house the congregation, which numbers about 3000. Other numbers: Floor space is 116,000 square feet. Cost (according to construction permits) is $22,357,000. Parking lot holds 814 cars.
