Château Frontenac Québec City, Québec, Canada. August 1995. It's been said that the Château Frontenac is the most photographed hotel in the world. It may well be true since it's such a dominant feature in the Québec City skyline. The hotel was built in the late 19th century by William van Horne, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway, as one of a series of grand hotels across the country.
