Red Rockets![]() September 1982, Toronto, Canada "Red Rockets" of the Toronto Transit Commision along St Clair Avenue West. Unlike other North American cities, Toronto has maintained an extensive network of streetcar lines, covering almost all of the former city of Toronto, and even extending to the western edge of Etobicoke along the lakeshore. New lines are still being built and more are expected! Contrary to expectations, the old PCC cars lasted well into the 1980's. Unfortunately, only a couple are left awaiting repairs and restoration.
