View of Salzburg from the castle. The river is the Salzach, a tributary of the Inn. Further downstream, the Inn flows into the Danube at Passau.
At the right in the photo is the Cathedral, built from 1614 to 1655. The church with the fresh copper roof in the left foreground is St. Peter's. Behind it is the Franciscans' Church. And behind it is the Kollegienkirche.
