Today, Pembroke is a vibrant city of about 16000 people. The “City of Murals” boasts 29 outdoor murals spread throughout the city representing aspects of the city’s history and present. The city is also home to North America’s largest hockey tournament, the Silver Stick, held in late Autumn.
