St. Lawrence Market

St Lawrence Market
Looking west on Front Street East at Jarvis Street.

The St. Lawrence Market offers a great variety of indoor shops. Although primarily selling food of all varieties, you can also find other items such as crafts. On weekends, you may find musicians welcoming you at the main entrance. North of Front Street is another building open at 5AM on Saturdays where farmers sell their wares. To the west, the neighborhood is dominated by the Gooderham building, also known as the "Flatiron Building".

Toronto's first city hall
Part of Toronto's first City Hall (1845-98) was kept for the current St. Lawrence Market building.
