Av and Dav

Avenue Road looking north

One Toronto map book calls this neighborhood "Av and Dav", after Avenue Road and Davenport Road. To the north, you can see the Hare Krishna temple, formerly a church of some Protestant denomination. When they bought the church, one of the first things the Hare Krishna did was sell the church's stained glass windows.

Davenport Road

To the east along Davenport, you can find a number of art galleries.

Corner store at Av and Dav

At this corner store at "Av and Dav", you can find some art that's somewhat less than fine.
