Front Street
CBC Broadcast Center.
As the railroad lands are developed, so too are the lands on either side of Front Street, which were previously used for parking lots, factories, and warehouses. The above photo shows the CBC Broadcast Centre building. Some of the shows taped here are the Royal Canadian Air Farce and the Red Green Show. We attended one taping of the Red Green Show, and it was a lot of fun. But be sure to get your tickets well in advance, since they go fast.

It's not just television that's produced here. Radio shows are also taped here, usually in the Glenn Gould Theatre. Unlike the television studios which are on the top floor of the building, the Glenn Gould Theater is on the main floor.
The CBC Broadcast Centre is reflected in the windows of the Convention Center North.
