Richmond & Spadina
North-west corner of Spadina Avenue and Richmond Street West.
At the northern edge of the Fashion District, the intersection of Spadina Avenue and Richmond Street West is the location of a huge thimble, a monument inspired by the many garment manufacturers that once could be found in this area. Almost all of the clothing manufacturers are gone, but many of the old buildings have been restored. Some are used for offices, and some are homes to art galleries.
