Driftwood on the beach.
East Point Park is a 60 hectare park south of the CN mainline between the FJ Horgan Filtration Plant and the mouth of Highland Creek. In the west end of the park, there’s a sports park with four baseball diamonds. A road runs through the park, but is usually closed during the winter months.

At the end of Beechgrove Drive is a parking lot used by hikers and bicyclists. A paved bike path runs to the east. At the mouth of Highland Creek, the path forks. To the right, the path leads into the Waterfront Trail, which leads to Port Union Commons. To the left, the path goes north along Highland Creek towards the Lower Highland Creek.
